So I set up a walking challenge for the month of December. The challenge was to walk at least 1 mile every day in December. My friends on Facebook who joined me have been doing great. Some days they do 1 mile and sometimes more.
I have been averaging 3 miles, but last night I walked 1 mile because I wasn’t feeling very well. I don’t feel guilty when I do 1 mile. 1 mile boosts your metabolism. I felt good after 1 mile.
This month isn’t about weight loss. It’s about getting in the habit of moving our bodies daily to improve our health. It’s about even if we live busy, hectic lives everyone can put in a 15 or 20 minute mile. Doing it as a challenge is very motivating for me🙂
I use Walk Away The Pounds DVDs. I can workout in a small space and get an amazing walk in. I also pull up Leslie’s workouts on YouTube. It works well with Chloe being home. Sometimes she does them with me.
