Sensory Gifts For Christmas

Happy Saturday ๐Ÿ˜Š

I have finally finished Christmas shopping for Chloe. I kept it very simple this year, but definitely wanted to get her some new sensory items. She is getting older and is showing more interest in pillows and soft blankets

I found a mermaid pillow today with soft pellets and super soft on the outside. I may get her get her one like the one pictured above. I’m not sure she would like it. She has a wrist bracelet made of the material, but doesn’t spend alot of time playing with it.

Lately she has been wanting a lot of deep pressure and tickling. I thought she might like a soft toy that vibrates. She could hold and squeeze it tight when she needs pressure. I thought I would get her some new squishy balls, silly putty and maybe clay to work on hand strength.

She also loves moon sand. It has to be pink or purple. I even love this stuff.

I am also looking into making her a few fidgets. It’s amazing what you can make at home for pennies. I plan on individually wrapping each thing for her to open. I have learned that it’s not that she wants more toys…she loves opening the gifts. Great sensory and fine motor work for herโ˜บ๏ธ

Do you include sensory items in your child’s Christmas gifts? What do you buy for your children?
