November NTI Day 1

Today was an actual no school day in our school system, but I am trying to keep her busy. She’s less fussy if she’s busy. So I put together some activities.

She worked on double digit addition with carrying. She did a wonderful job. Didn’t need my help at all☺️ We also sorted coins, she told me what they were and the value of each. Then we counted pennies and nickles to $1.00.

She then went to her room and read through a stack of books. She didn’t want me to read to her today. I will at bedtime 🥰. I do miss the days she would bring me a bunch of books to read to her. We would snuggle up on the couch and read them all.

I found some great apps for Autism learning. She worked on them, plus Star Fall as well. She spent a good 45 minutes on her tablet.

She refused to do any writing today. We ended up going to visit my older daughter for awhile. I was able to run out and pick up a few needed items.

Once we got home she played with her puzzles and drew tons of pictures ☺️. She did enough to satisfy me and she wasn’t fussy.

I hope you are all well. Take care

  1. She did a great job! I’m amazed that she’s so willing to do activities with you, my son is instantly bored if I try to do some learning with him! 🤨
We love MITA, it’s an amazing app!
We’ve had it for a few years now and just picked it up again after a long break. It was great to see they’ve added many more games, it was much more basic 3-4 years ago.
    Stay safe and well!
