Growing Out a Pixie is Hard!

Happy Thursday 😊

Wow waiting for a pixie to grow out is hard! I thought it would be so much easier to care for. I was wrong. It takes more trims and well I just miss having more hair.

The past few months it has grown a little. It was over my ears at one point.  Now it’s almost to the bottom of my ears. I have researched ways to help it grow a bit faster. Here is what I have been doing….

Coconut Oil Hair Treatments 2 times a week. I read the oil in the scalp promotes hair growth, so adding extra will hopefully help. Plus it makes my hair really soft and shiny🙂

Skip daily washing and use Dry Shampoo. My hair gets super oily when I skip even one wash. I’m making a natural homemade version of Dry Shampoo. It’s 1/2 cup cocoa powder and 1/2 cup baking soda. If it doesn’t work I’ll use store bought.

Scalp Massages stimulate the scalp and promote hair growth. They feel good too. I do this when washing my hair in the shower.

Use Daily Conditioner after shampooing. Don’t skip this step.

Take a daily supplement like Biotin. This helps keep your hair healthy.

So hopefully soon I’ll be rocking a bob. No more pixies for this girl😊

Have a wonderful day❤
