This week I started adding Busy Bags to our homeschool curriculum. I really love using them and Chloe sees them as games, not as school work. She doesn’t fight me on these at all.
We are learning about apples, so I made a Lifecycle of an Apple game. I numbered it for now and then I will erase the numbers and let her try to remember the order they go in. I found a lot of great items at Carson Delosa. The Task cards and the 2 boxes of cards for conversation are great to use with children with Autism. The rest of the busy bags I downloaded and copied from 123 Homeschool4me and The Measured Mom. The opposites puzzle came from the Target Dollar spot. The flashcards and sticks are from the Dollar Tree. I let her use them for manipulatives for adding and subtracting.
The letter fill in cards she can use a dry erase marker or letter tiles to fill in the missing letter. Chloe loves using magnet letters to spell words. I am going to buy her a Melissa and Doug letter stamp set . I know she will love it!
That’s what we are working on this week, plus our regular curriculum workbooks. Thank you so much for stopping by today. Please become a follower by clicking that blue followers icon in the sidebar. Thank you to those who are already followers.
Have a wonderful and blessed day.
