Hi everyone. I almost forgot to post my Monday Menu. Rough weekend drained the brain. LOL
Tonight we are trying for the first time: Honey Garlic Chicken
I am making this in the Crock Pot, so easy peasy. Here is the recipe:
4 Chicken Thighs (Leave the fat on, you can remove it later)
** In a separate bowl mix the following ingredients together well**
1/2 cup Soy Sauce (I use low sodium)
1/2 cup of ketchup
1/3 cup of honey
3 Cloves of Garlic
Basil (I just sprinkle some in)
*I lay the 4 chicken thighs in the bottom of the crockpot.
*I pour the separate bowl of ingredients on top of the chicken.
*Cook on high 3 to 3 1/2 hours or on low 4 to 5 hours
So quick and simple! I serve this with brown rice, green beans and a garden salad.
